McFarland volunteers most Tuesdays to read with first and second graders. "He is a beloved ‘grand friend’ to all of the students, and everyone wants a turn to work with Mr. McFarland. He is an incredible human being,” said teacher Rachel Norton.

Minnetonka Theatre Presents Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS, Celebrates 15 Years of Elementary Musicals
This summer, Minnetonka Theatre celebrates 15 years of elementary school musicals by revisiting its very first production, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS, a musical based on the classic animated film, 101 Dalmatians. This production brings together fourth and fifth graders from all six elementary schools in the district.
