Third Grade District Choir

Both Choirs will perform in a Winter and Spring Concert and have the opportunity to lead the National Anthem at a Minnesota Twins baseball game with all of the District Choirs in Spring 2027.

Rehearsals

Third Grade Skipper Choir
Rehearsal Day: Monday
Rehearsal Time: 4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
Rehearsal Location: Deephaven – Room 14A

Third Grade Anchor Choir
Rehearsal Day: Tuesday
Rehearsal Time: 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Rehearsal Location: Scenic Heights Elementary School - Room 301

Performances

  • February 3, 2027 – Winter Concert at Minnetonka High School Arts Center
  • May 12, 2027 – Spring Concert at Minnetonka High School Arts Center
  • Spring 2027 TBD – Sing National Anthem at Minnesota Twins Baseball Game

How to join

  1. Talk to your family about joining.
  2. To learn more about the Skipper and Anchor Choirs, and to view the full 2026-27 rehearsal schedule, follow the links above to the Singer Handbooks.
  3. Make sure you have transportation available to get to rehearsals. Busing is not provided, however, many families find that carpooling works well.
  4. Invite your friends to join, too!
  5. Registration will open in late summer 2026.

How much does it cost? 

Registration fee: $50 (Annual), $25 (Spring Only)

Attendance Policy

Please mark your calendars to make sure your student is in attendance for all rehearsals. In case of illness or other unavoidable conflict, please notify your child’s director and assistant to the director via email.  Every rehearsal is important!  

Communications

Communication from the directors will arrive through email. We will create an email distribution list to send out direct messages and news. We will always use the blind copy option to keep information private. Be sure to check your junk box and add our emails to your address book.

Parent Volunteers

There will be times during the year that we will need parent help. Notifications of volunteer opportunities will be sent out through email after your student has been registered.
