About Minnetonka Middle School East
Minnetonka Middle School East is a welcoming, high-performing public middle school serving students in grades 6-8. Families are drawn to MME for its strong academics, caring teachers, supportive school community and wide range of opportunities that help students discover their strengths during these important middle school years. Students benefit from engaging core classes, advanced learning opportunities and language immersion pathways that support academic growth. Beyond the classroom, students can explore award-winning music and arts programs, athletics, activities and leadership opportunities within a school community focused on belonging and student well-being.
As part of Minnetonka Public Schools, MME prepares students for success at Minnetonka High School and beyond by helping them build confidence, curiosity, independence and the academic foundation needed for future success.

The projects are part of more than 80,000 square feet of new construction and over 30,000 square feet of renovation taking place across the school district, including gym and performance venues at both middle schools, new science classrooms, and improvements at six elementary schools and the high school.

The honor celebrates schools, teachers and community leaders for their strong efforts in supporting music education and integrating many diverse and advanced music classes into the school's core curriculum.
