MHS Varsity Cheerleading Program (Tonka Cheer)

The Minnetonka High School Varsity Cheerleading Program (Tonka Cheer) is a 20-member cheer squad that participates in both sideline (fall) cheerleading and competition (fall/winter) during its 10-month season (May-February). The Tonka Cheer program is steeped in a rich tradition of success. Its team members are committed to attendance at practices, games, community service events and competitions. Tryouts are typically in April. Some travel is involved both in- and out-state. Students enrolled in grades 8–12 in the fall are eligible.
